Eleanor Harwood is the owner and curator of Eleanor Harwood Gallery. Prior to opening the gallery doors in 2006, she curated the Adobe Books backroom gallery from 2002 -2006. She is also a painter and has worked on various curatorial projects in the Bay Area. She was a student in the CCA MFA program and undergraduate at UC Santa Cruz studying Film Video and theory and American Studies with an Emphasis on Visual Culture. She has exhibited her paintings at Samson Projects MA, Lincart CA, and Pulligham Deffinbaugh OR
The Shadowshopper is a partial catalog of over 200 Bay Area artist's wares for sale at Shadowshop, a temporary retail project by Stephanie Syjuco embedded in SFMOMA's fifth floor galleries. 100% of all sales go directly to the artist-producer. Support local creative capital!
